Other Elantra are timing chain. Hard to understand why Hyundai kept that old technology so long. But 90K seems more common.

    If you have no oil leaks up high and good maintenance, you should be OK. But do an inspection now for sure. The 60k interval is surprising to hear since my Focus was k. How does the belt look and feel? On a car this age I would expect the belt to be in good shape so I would probably stretch the interval and watch the belt.
